Me
Thanks for stopping by my site! So a little about me . . . I have always had a passion for photography. My mom bought me a "good" camera when my twins were born and even "way back then", I was creating backdrops and props and taking ALOT of photos of my newborns and beyond.
I have been married for 25 years and have three beautiful children along with two very sweet granddaughters.
Besides my passion for photography and travel, I love boating and fishing, camping, cooking, trying out new restaurants, and, most importantly, spending time with friends and family.
I have worked full-time as a photographer the past seven years perfecting my skills both as a photographer and in my editing techniques.
The past few years I have built up quite a collection of professional cameras, lenses, lighting and editing software.
My goal is for my client's to have a stress free, safe and fun session!
Location
I have an indoor studio near Gopher Hills Golf Course in the Miesville/Welch areas. Within my studio I have a vast collection of backdrops, buckets, baskets, furs, newborn, infant and children's clothing, headbands, hats, ties, etc.
I am only 20 minutes from the outskirts of Hastings, Cannon Falls and Red Wing. Along with my indoor studio, I have access to great outdoor spaces near meadows, creeks, fields, old farms and wooded areas.
As your photos should be unique to you, I am also happy to travel to a special location to personalize your session.

Training and Experience
Through high school and college, I took several photography classes. Although my career took me down another path for many years, I continued to keep well versed in the photography world. On occasion I photographed for the local newspaper and did a lot of "special" little sessions for my children and their friends as they grew up.
In the past decade, I have done a lot of training online as well as attending local camera classes and a highlight . . training with one of the most well known newborn photographers in the country, Anna Marie Brandt, in Nashville, TN!
I currently belong to a local photography club as well as the Professional Photographers of America where I continue to receive knowledge and training from colleagues on all levels of the photography world.
